Miami Bus

Conference Venue Buses

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the THesis Hotel Miami and the Newman Alumni Center, the official venue of the conference. Shuttles will run before the start and upon conclusion of each conference day to accommodate participants attending sessions and events. All registered attendees are welcome to use this service at no additional cost. In addition, buses and shuttles will be provided for all attendees for conference-related events like dinners and tour days.

Miami Metrorail

Metrorail & Metromover

The Metrorail is an elevated rail system connecting key locations such as Miami International Airport, Downtown Miami, and Coral Gables. It offers a fast and cost-effective way to navigate the city. The Metromover is a free, automated people mover operating in Downtown and Brickell, with stops near many hotels, restaurants, attractions, and Brickell City Centre. Conference participants can use both systems to conveniently explore Miami during their stay. For those staying at hotels outside the main conference venue, the Metrorail provides easy access via the University Metrorail Station.

Tri-Rail & Brightline

Participants can explore beyond Miami using Tri-Rail or Brightline. Tri-Rail offers convenient service to destinations like Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, and West Palm Beach. For high-speed travel to Boca Raton, West Palm, or even Orlando, Brightline provides a fast and comfortable option—perfect for a day trip or weekend adventure after the conference.

Ride-Sharing Apps

For convenient travel around Coral Gables and the greater Miami area, international participants are encouraged to use ride-sharing apps such as Uber and Lyft. These can be easily downloaded to your smartphone and are ideal for getting to the University of Miami, nearby hotels, and exploring the city at your own pace.
